Music at St. Edward’s
Music is at the heart of our worship. From our choir to our Spanish-language coro, there's a place for you to sing, play, and praise.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Lively, varied, and diverse. Just like our congregation.
St. Edward's has a music program of roughly 35 choir members ranging in age, experience, and preferred language. Some are professional singers, organists, and conductors. Others are just finding their footing in choral singing. It all works beautifully.
Rooted in the Anglican tradition, our music draws from the Episcopal hymnals, Gregorian chant, world music, classical music, the Lutheran hymnal, and the Spanish hymnal Flor y Canto.
Every week we close rehearsal by sharing our concerns and thanksgivings with one another and in prayer.

The Choir
The English-language choir sings at the 10:00 AM Sunday Holy Eucharist, leading the congregation in worship each week.

El Coro
The Spanish-language coro leads worship at the 12:30 PM La Santa Eucaristia, bringing rich Hispanic musical traditions to our community.

Handbells
St. Edward's has an active handbell program drawing singers and instrumentalists from across the congregation, including children, tweens, and teens.

There's a place for you in our music program
Whether you're an experienced singer, a casual worshipper who loves to sing, or a musician looking to serve -- you're welcome here. No audition required. Just bring your voice and your love of music.
Rehearsals are Sunday mornings. The choir warms up at 9:00 AM in the Chapel before the 10:00 AM service.
